Welcome!

Welcome to the New Jersey Libertarian News Blog! We cover everything from local to national news that is relevant to the everyday libertarian. Many of the issues we focus on are civil liberties, public access to government, ballot access, taxes, property rights, government corruption, and more. The news you will find here is not objective and is seen from the angle of a Libertarian. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave a comment or email us. We enjoy getting feedback from our readers.

NJ Libertarian Party Makes Progress On Outreach

The NJ Libertarian Party has gotten its hands on the membership roll of members of the national party that live in NJ. The Libertarian Party sent the NJLP a list of over 9000 names of Libertarians who are not members of the state party. The NJLP steering committee is currently drafting up a form letter to go out to these wayward Libertarians to inform them of the great opportunities to get involved in local activism with the state party.

More on what the state party is planning will come soon.

Ken used to send me this list every month. Note that many of the names are old, many of the addresses bounce. When I used to get the list I used to email the most recent names that were added. We should also add them to our master database and send them newsletters. Theoretically I get an email every time an address is added and I do add them to our database, but sometimes names would get added to the list that I didn't get an email about.

I also created a yahoo email address where I imported all of the email addresses (about 80% bounced) Occasionally I send announcements using that email.

Could you send me the most recent list at my regular email address? - Jay E.
