A Bit Backwards?

Today in the Star Ledger in an article titled "Former governor may sue Corzine over slashed arts funding" Former Republican Gov. Tom Kean is "outraged" that governor Corzine has made a proposal to cut cultural funds to below the minimums outlined by the law and in fact is considering filing his own lawsuit against the governor over the issue. Is is just me or shouldn't it be the Republican who wants to cut spending, not the Democrat? This is just another example of how the Republican Party has become a big spender. How can we vote for Republicans expecting them to cut down on big government when a miracle occurs and a big spender Democrat like Corzine recommends cutting funding, and the Republican threatens to sue? At this point in American history the only vote you can make to try and cut down on big government is a vote for the Libertarian Party. Voting for the Republicans or Democrats is just a wasted vote.
